It will be fine Malc

As I meander down this life that God is gently carving through the landscape for me I find myself at yet another bend. The scenery has just changed. This is a less wide place and there appear to be mountains rising to each side. There is a sense of challenge. Yet with that challenge comes the reassurance "It will be fine Malc". I don't know whether the water be rougher or smoother on this next stretch. In fact, if my geography serves me well then what is ahead will more likely be demanding rapids, but, "It will be fine Malc". But what if I capsize? "It will be fine Malc". BUT? "I said it'll be fine Malc!"

As of today I am the Executive Director of FAITH Christian Group. A natural progression for those of you who know my history with the charity. It is on the one hand incredibly daunting as I am taking on a "do or die" responsibility to move the charity up a few gears and in the process increase our income to cover both my salary and our ability to expand. I have never really "been in charge" of anything before, in the sense that I now am. I have though never had the degree of affirmation and support in a role as I am now experiencing from the Trustees.
